KAMALA BLOSSOM · JAYNE FRASER
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how I collect, use and protect your personal information when you contact me, use my website, make a booking or purchase, join a programme or membership, attend an event or workshop, access a course or resource, or sign up to receive emails from me.
I am Jayne Fraser and I operate through Kamala Blossom and Jayne Fraser Soulfire Coach. This policy also covers my Whisper & Wild app and membership and the free Kamala Blossom Community. For the purposes of UK data protection law, I am the data controller responsible for the personal information covered by this policy.
Information I collect
The information I collect will depend on how you choose to work or interact with me and may include:
- your name and contact details, such as your email address and telephone number
- information you provide when making an enquiry, booking or purchase
- information needed to provide a treatment, coaching session, programme, course, membership, workshop or other service
- payment and transaction information
- information you provide when joining my email list or requesting a free resource
- correspondence and communications between us
- information you choose to share during coaching or other services
- feedback, testimonials, photographs or reviews that you choose to provide or give permission for me to use
- occasional brief session notes where these are made
- account details and journal entries, reflections or photographs you choose to save in the Whisper & Wild app
- technical information that may be collected when you use my website or online services
I only collect information that is relevant and reasonably necessary for the particular service or interaction.
How I use your information
I may use your personal information to:
- respond to enquiries
- arrange and manage appointments and bookings
- provide treatments, coaching, meditation sessions, Reiki training, workshops, memberships, courses and other services
- communicate with you about something you have booked, purchased or joined
- provide access to digital resources, courses or membership content
- process payments and maintain appropriate financial records
- manage events, workshops and memberships
- send emails about my work, services, events, resources and offers where you have chosen to receive them
- meet legal, financial, contractual, insurance or professional obligations
- manage and improve my services and online platforms
Lawful basis for using your information
UK data protection law requires me to have a lawful basis for processing personal information.
Depending on the circumstances, I may process your information because:
- it is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to take steps before entering into an agreement with you
- I have a legal obligation to retain or use certain information
- I have a legitimate business interest in using the information and that interest does not override your rights and interests
- you have given your consent, for example when choosing to receive marketing emails
Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Session notes
Where I make brief session notes, these form part of your confidential client record and are used to support our work together.
Website enquiries and waiting lists
When you submit a website form, I collect your name, email address, the type of request and your contact preference. An enquiry may also include your chosen interest and message. A record of the submission, including its date, is stored in the website database. The form is also sent through FormSubmit so that a copy can be delivered to my business email, hosted by IONOS.
I use enquiry information to respond to your request and arrange a service where appropriate. If you join a particular waiting list, I use your details to contact you about that offer. General marketing emails are sent where you have separately chosen to receive them.
Coaching and personal information
Coaching and related conversations may involve personal information about your circumstances, experiences, goals, work or business.
Information you choose to share as part of these conversations will be treated confidentially, subject to any legal or safeguarding obligations that may apply.
Email marketing and free resources
If you choose to join my email list or otherwise opt in to receive marketing communications, I may use your name, email address and relevant interests or preferences to send you information about my work, services, events, resources and offers. When you request a free resource, I use your details to deliver it; any invitation to receive ongoing marketing emails will explain the choice separately.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the email or by contacting me at jayne@kamalablossom.co.uk. You can also ask to be removed from a waiting list.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent me from contacting you where necessary about a booking, purchase, membership, programme or other service you have requested.
Online sessions and WhatsApp
Online sessions take place through Google Meet and are not recorded.
I use WhatsApp for individual client messages and client groups. Clients join groups through an invitation link or are added with their permission. In a group, your phone number is visible to other members; your profile name and photograph may also be visible depending on your settings.
Younger clients
Where a client is under 16, a parent or guardian arranges the booking and gives consent for the service. I use the relevant client and parent or guardian contact details to manage the booking and communication.
Testimonials and photographs
I publish a client's testimonial, name or photograph on my website or social media only with their permission.
Payments
Payments may be made through Stripe or SumUp, by bank transfer or in cash. Information necessary to process card payments is handled by Stripe or SumUp in accordance with their own privacy and security arrangements.
I do not collect or store your card details.
Service providers
I use third-party service providers where necessary to operate my business. These include:
- OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for website hosting and storage of website form submissions
- FormSubmit for forwarding website form submissions to my business email, and IONOS for hosting that email
- TidyCal for appointment bookings
- Base44 for hosting the Whisper & Wild app and handling members’ account information, including their email addresses
- Replicants for community and membership delivery, including the free Kamala Blossom Community
- Stripe and SumUp for card payments
- Google Meet for online sessions
- WhatsApp for individual client communication and client groups
Other providers may be used for electronic documents and business administration. When an email-marketing service is selected, this policy will be updated to reflect its use.
These providers may process personal information where necessary to provide their services and may have their own data protection obligations and privacy policies.
I do not sell your personal information.
I may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect someone's safety or legal rights.
How long I keep your information
I keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or where I need to retain it to meet a legal, financial or contractual obligation.
Client records are retained for at least seven years after the client record is closed. This includes contact and booking information, relevant correspondence and any session notes. A longer period may apply where a legal obligation or an ongoing claim requires it.
The current Whisper & Wild course finishes on 31 December 2027. Members have a further 30 days, until the end of 30 January 2028, to retrieve their saved journal entries. After this period, the app will close and its member accounts, journal entries and other saved personal content will be deleted. Purchase and transaction records held separately follow the financial retention requirements below.
Financial and transaction information is retained for the period required for accounting and tax purposes.
If you join my email list, your contact details and marketing preferences will be held while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I may retain the minimum information necessary to record your preference and ensure that you do not receive further marketing communications.
Personal information connected with testimonials, photographs or promotional material will be retained for as long as it continues to be used with your permission.
Enquiries are retained while I respond to your request and deal with related follow-up. Waiting-list records are retained while you wish to receive information about that offer. These records are reviewed and deleted when the purpose has ended, unless they become part of a client record or there is another reasonable business, legal or contractual reason to retain them.
FormSubmit states that it retains its own archive of form submissions for 30 days. This is separate from copies held in my business email and website database, which follow the retention criteria in this policy.
Other personal information is reviewed and deleted when there is no longer a reasonable business, legal or contractual reason to retain it.
Keeping your information secure
Personal information is stored electronically, with any paper records kept securely in a locked cabinet. I take reasonable steps to protect the personal information I hold against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.
Where I use third-party platforms or online services, I use appropriate security features available to me and take reasonable care when choosing services that process personal information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information I hold about you
- request a copy of your personal information
- ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected
- ask for your information to be deleted in certain circumstances
- ask for the use of your information to be restricted in certain circumstances
- object to certain uses of your information
- receive certain information you have provided in a portable format, or ask for it to be transferred to another organisation, where this right applies
- withdraw consent where I am relying on consent to use your information
If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact me using the details below.
You have the right to object to the use of your information for direct marketing at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests, depending on your circumstances.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled. Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies and website information
Website hosting and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request information to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Some images are loaded from external image services, which receive the technical information needed to deliver them to your browser.
Website forms are processed on this website and forwarded through FormSubmit to my business email. A hidden form field helps prevent automated spam. FormSubmit has its own privacy arrangements. FormSubmit's information is available at formsubmit.co/privacy.pdf.
No separate analytics or advertising tracking scripts have been added to the current website. This section will be reviewed if the website's tracking, cookies or connected services change.
Processing outside the UK
Some service providers may process personal information outside the UK, including in the United States. The arrangements depend on the service being used. Base44, Stripe, Cloudflare and Replicants publish information about international transfers and the safeguards they use in their privacy or data-processing terms.
You can contact me at jayne@kamalablossom.co.uk for further information about the providers involved in handling your information.
Links and external services
My website, courses, resources or communications may contain links to other websites, social media platforms or third-party services.
Those organisations are responsible for their own privacy practices when you provide information directly to them.
Changes to this policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to my services, systems or legal obligations.
The most recent version will be made available through my website.
